It still doesn't work for donations only for comments.

Indeed, I have the same problem. It’s probably broken due to the upgrade to 2.3. I’ll look into it asap and let you know when it’s fixed.

I’ll be honest though, I haven’t set it up yet, that will be done when I get back from vacation.
