Have you ever handled a marketplace disputes?

Most Webmaster or Admin forums used to have a marketplace section where users buy and sell their services using the board. There are always rules guiding how the marketplace is to be used but there will always be those who will end up breaching the TOS of the marketplace.

Have you had to deal with settling this kind of dispute in your forum? How do you start with settling it? Do you set up a team to review it or you do everything by yourself?

I have not had to deal with a marketplace dispute on any of my forums but I have heard from people who have needed to deal with marketplace disputes due to either non-payers or people who take payment and fail to deliver the work.

Something I have learned from others who have dealt with this is how careful you have to be to be sure you understand the whole dispute before making any decisions.
