Becoming a writer is not only presenting ideas presented in an article or content but writing work can also make money. Although becoming a professional writer is not easy, we need time and lots of practice writing, starting from light writing such as on forum sites, be it on Agoraforo, DiscussionBucks, Trendri, etc. There are several ways we can do to become a professional writer such as:

1. Determine the Type of Writing
The type of writing should be adjusted to the abilities and skills that exist in yourself, if you master finance then you can write articles about finance, likewise in other types or fields such as animal husbandry, agriculture, cryptocurrency or you prefer fictional stories etc.

2. Read and Listen More
Reading and listening more, be it books, online articles, online newspapers, videos, etc. will increase thinking power, imagination, broaden horizons and increase vocabulary.

3. Find a Platform to Publish Your Writing
Once you start writing fluently and proficiently, you need to find the right professional writing platform to be able to publish your writing.

4. Don't Give Up
Don't give up quickly if your writing is often rejected in the early stages and keep practicing until you succeed.

Being a writer is something everyone can attempt but not everyone can be successful in doing so.

I often hear people say, "Writing must be an easy way to earn money, " which is far from the truth.

You need to have a passion for writing and enjoy what you do, burnout can be a very real thing and can hit when you least expect it.

Becoming a professional in writing or even in anything requires practice. Most of the best writers we have today started from somewhere. It took them years of practice to get to the level they are today. Having an open mind id another thing that is needed if you want to become a professional writer. You could have a phd in writing but that doesn't mean you know it all. Have an open mind to keep learning and keep exploring.

Finding your unique voice and niche is the first thing to do. Specialising in a specific type of writing and becoming an expert in that area is very important to becoming a professional writer.

One of the things that has helped me in my journey to becoming a professional writer is the fact that I read a lot. Sometimes, a piece of information I had casually read somewhere years back becomes relevant in a piece of writing that I am handling. And then, every book a person reads leaves an imprint on his or her writing style. It is important to understand the business of writing too in order to succeed with it as a professional. One can also decide to specialize in a niche in writing. I know of people that can write great speeches but can't do an article. And they get paid well for that speciality in speech writing.

If you have no experience, it's hard to get started. And it will always have its up and downs. I think many content writers learn from every experience they have and often say after that they could've done better. And as Shortie said, it's easy to fall into a burnout.

Off yes but to be a professional writer you needs to acquire knowledge on it and you need to be hardworking at times you have to attempt so many practices in other to do so

2 and 4 have been the driving force for my foray into writing. Not to discount the others (which are helpful tips as well), but I found that exposing yourself to other material can help a lot with writing, especially within your niche. It may feel like a lot more work, but I feel like it can go a long way.

And definitely don't give up! I may not get a lot of readers (if any!), but at the very least I'm gaining experience and practice.

The first step of becoming a professional writer is to be exceptionally good at writing. You should not only know how to write but also be very good with language and grammar. You will then have to write and publish your articles and start building your experience. Writing is a competitive field so it might take years before you get a paid contract to call yourself a professional writer.

Write on a daily basis. Write about anything and everything. The way to perfect your skill is to be at it consistently. In due time you will see the results of your efforts.

I think that to be a professional writer the most important thing is practice, the passion you put into writing and learning about the topics you want to write and time, no one is born a professional in what they do, you must work hard and time will help you in this, the more you write, the better you will be at it, there is nothing better than practice and experience in whatever field you develop.

If you want to become a professional writer, it's like you want to turn your passion into a career. The first thing you need to do is develop a consistent writing habit, build a strong portfolio, and also make sure that you improve your craft. Don't forget to network with other writers and try to adapt to the evolving market as well. If you take all of these into consideration, you’ll make your writing journey worthwhile.

I remembered how I started with freelancing and guest posting to build my portfolio. After that, I specialised in crypto writing and I created a personal website to showcase my work.
