How to Create a Marketplace Listing​

Creating a listing in the Agora Marketplace is easy and can be done in two ways. Follow the steps below to create your listing and start selling your digital or physical products and services.

Method 1: Through the Marketplace Add on​

1. Visit the Marketplace Addon​

Go to Agora Marketplace.

2. New Listing​

Click on the "New Listing" button and select the appropriate category for your listing.

3. Fill in Details​

Provide the necessary details for your resource. Click on "Sell resource" and tick the box labeled "Tick this box to sell a digital product or a physical product or a service offer".

4. Additional Details​

Fill in more details and a selling price about your product or service.

5. Save Your Listing​

Click the "Save" button at the bottom. A thread will be automatically created in the marketplace forum.

The marketplace addon is more extended and suggested for more complex sales where a lot of information and attachments are needed. However, it is not limited to complex sales. If you prefer this method, you can use it for simple sales as well.

Method 2: Directly in the Marketplace Forum​

1. Post Thread​

Inside the marketplace forum, click on "Post thread".

2. Select Sale​

Go to the "Sale" button next to the "Discussion" tab.

3. Fill in Details​

Provide the details for your sale and click "Post thread".


Your thread will look something like this, giving members the opportunity to purchase your item secure and safely.



When clicking the "Buy now" button, an overlay will show up and redirect you to PayPal.



This method is suggested for simpler sales that do not require a lot of information or attachments.
